PULSE is a
nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization working to improve patient safety
and reduce the rate of medical errors using real life stories and
experiences. Survivors of medical errors are encouraged to use their
experience to educate the community and advocate for a safer healthcare
system.

through advocacy, education and support.
Support
We provide support to patients and
families who have experienced medical errors or advserse events
as they seek closure.
Education
We educate the community about quality
healthcare practice so they may become knowledgeable, confident
and active participants in their healthcare experience.
Advocacy
We assist in reducing misunderstandings
between patients and healthcare providers and provide a platform
for effective communication and working partnerships whereby the
community works with healthcare providers and institutions to proactively
contribute to and advocate for safe quality care.
